Journey into a whole new world where students desire to learn; where they strive to excel in mathematics, sciences, and technologies; where educators are equipped with the resources they need; and, where a community comes together to support education.  The NASA Destiny Classroom program can help schools realize this dream.

NASA Destiny Classrooms are elite centers of knowledge that provide an atmosphere of learning through excitement, adventure and challenge.  The NASA Destiny Classroom is where educators endeavor to motivate, captivate and engage their students in the process of learning. NASA Destiny Classrooms connect students, educators, administrators, parents, and community partners in the learning process, providing a fun and successful learning environment.

The NASA Destiny Classroom is uniquely designed to help educate students in their required courses of study while greatly enhancing the quality and excitement of instruction.  The NASA Destiny Classroom program provides participating educators with a dynamic academic package consisting of units, lesson plans, projects, resources, and educator training, all geared toward mathematics, sciences, technologies and the arts.  Thematically based on aviation and space, the NASA Destiny Classroom program of study is strongly aligned with the Alabama course of study in not only the critical areas of mathematics, sciences, and technologies but across the curriculum as well.

Incorporating the StarQuest, FlightQuest, ACE, GEAR, ACTION and My Destiny programs into its design, the NASA Destiny Classroom is the centerpiece of the von Braun Scholars (VBS) education series.  The NASA Destiny Classroom provides a series of learning experiences designed to challenge students to personally excel in mathematics, sciences, technologies and the arts.

Additionally the NASA Destiny Classroom has incorporates a Community Partnership program that provides special assistance to the educator.  Community Partners work with the classroom to demonstrate the importance of education and to provide support for the program.
